Introduction To Labour Law

The Certificate Program in Labour Law is aimed at providing participants with a general overview and survey of labour law. Labour law, in a narrow sense, is that body of law which governs the employment relationship. In a broader sense (according to Deakin) labour law is looked at as the normative framework for the existence and operation of all the institutions of the labour market: the business enterprise, trade unions, employer’s associations, and the state as regulator.
