On-line games can help young children to acquire beneficial skills. Allow preschoolers time to learn how to use the computer, this is an essential skill. There are many free educational games available on-line – be sure to review the games on your selected site to ensure they are appropriate before allowing the child to play. Ensure the child is safely seated and monitor the child’s computer use. Limit the young child’s computer usage time to 20 minutes per day then move on to an equally or more interesting activity.
