GCCS Barbados is responsible for public service, outreach and continuing education programming in Barbados. We offer a three-tiered registration structure to suit particular needs and educational backgrounds and allow our students to move and transfer within the entire University system to reach the required standard.
The Site is a registered CXC Examination Centre and delivers teaching in a range of CXC/CSEC General Proficiency subjects. The philosophy of lifelong learning underpins the CXC/CSEC Educational & Enrichment Programme by making educational opportunities accessible to students in an enabling and student-centred manner.
Students can take their May/June examinations in a familiar setting at the Site.

This annual programme caters to prospective 4th & 5th Form Students or students who are preparing for their CXC/CSEC Examinations during the next examination period.
Moreover, it aims to captivate young individuals in meaningful activities during the summer break, blending enjoyment with exposure to university life. The program spans 5 weeks and will immerse students in interactive, concentrated, and enlightening education across 13 subjects.
PROGRAMME HIGHLIGHTS:
- Interactive and educational five (5) week programme.
- Caters to students taking CXC examinations in the coming year.
- Combine any three subjects from the total of the 13 subjects being offered.
- Conducive learning environment at the secure Campus location.
- Opportunity for students to meet and interact with students from other secondary schools.
- The programme includes: Targeted Tuition, Study Tips, Exam Guidance, Workshops, Educational Tours, and Special Awards & Prizes.

REGISTRATION
Registration takes place at the UWI Global Campus, The Pine, St. Michael.
Return the completed Registration Form & Two (2) Passport-Sized photos for processing of your student ID number and issuing of your student ID card. Use the Student Name and Student ID Number to make fee payments at any branch of CIBC into The UWI Global Campus Account #1000918136. THE UWI STUDENT ID NUMBER MUST BE USED WHEN MAKING PAYMENTS.
Return the payment slip received from the bank to UWI Global Campus to complete the registration process.
